Other events
Other than SNEC's four core events, we organise other activities throughout the year, including Student Dialogues, National Education Symposiums and Heritage Trails.
Dialogues
Twice a year, SNEC facilitates dialogue sessions between students and Office Holders to discuss various policy matters related to Singapore. SNEC organises "Our Hwa Chong Conversations" (OHCC) twice yearly to give students an opportunity to engage in discussion about contemporary issues. In 2023 and 2024, Engagements (C1 MFA) and Ministerial Dialogues with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Health were held.

Heritage trails
SNEC organises a myriad of heritage trails showcasing the rich culture and history of both our school and country. We feature both school-based heritage trails, including the C1 Orientation Heritage Trail at the start of each year, and community-based heritage trails, which are rolled out at various times across the year.
